Jess_edit

Jessica

Jessica joined the team in August 2019. You can find her behind the desk Mon-Fri looking after the behind-the-scenes administrative work at the clinic, like WSIB and MVA insurance. She attended Lakehead University in Thunder Bay and received a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in psychology & gerontology, and a master’s degree in public health. She is a “total nerd” and likes working with data. She hopes to continue her education in health information management. She grew up between Bala and Port Carling, and has worked in tourism, recreation, event planning, academic research, and retail. She likes to paint and research her family tree. She lives outside of Hillsburgh with her fiancé and a cat named Mully.

Tyra

Tyra grew up in Orangeville, ON and is the youngest of 3 children. She enjoys reading, watching TV with her family, rug making, and spending time with her cat, Beau. Tyra works part-time at Village Chiropractic and the rest of her days off she runs a business on Instagram where she makes and sells homemade rugs. She also enjoys acting; she has done a few short films and one commercial in the past. She hopes to continue with her acting career in the future. In the meantime, you can find Tyra working the front desk at Village Chiropractic where she keeps things running smoothly.

Amy_edit

Amy

Amy has many years of experience as an administrator but has been with Village Chiropractic for 1 year. She grew up in Alton, completed high school in Orangeville, then went to Sheridan College in Brampton where she took the Office Administration Executive program and graduated with honours. Outside of Village Chiropractic, Amy enjoys cooking and spending time with her family.

Karon_edit

Karon

Karon has been a resident of Orangeville for most of her life after moving here from Erin at the age of 10. After graduating from ODSS, she moved to Barrie and attended Georgian College taking Graphic Design. The pull of our small town brought her back here after graduation, and she worked at the Orangeville Banner for a few years until taking a ‘stop gap’ full time job with RBC Insurance in Mississauga. 27 years later, she decided to ease her way into semi-retirement, left RBC and joined the wonderful team at Village Chiropractic working behind reception part-time. Karon has 2 grown children, both currently pursuing post secondary education. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, yoga, walking her dog, baking and travelling (preferably somewhere in the warm sunshine by a beach!).

Our office has been open since May 1999 and has grown over the years to accommodate our patients.  Our most common compliment is that we make patients feel comfortable and we provide great service ~ something we take very seriously!  There are many techniques used in chiropractic care.

In our office we use manual and instrument adjusting techniques and we also offer Active Release Techniques, an effective soft tissue release technique to complement our chiropractic care.
